Programme 2018

On July 10th the Slot Art Festival begins ? a five-day event bringing several thousand young creative people to Lubiąż near Wrocław. SAF is a place of meeting for inspiration-seekers, fans of various music genres, jugglery enthusiasts, activists, all crafts and arts and most of all ? people full of passion and looking for inspiration.

The festival’s program is divided in 5 sections, that will help you find yourself in the vast richness and diversity:

• over 150 WORKSHOPS, from artistic through sport and linguistic to the various dimensions of self-development and fields completely unusual;

• several dozen CONCERTS on stages presenting both stars and musical discoveries of various genres;

• tens of MEETINGS with experts during lectures, discussions, panels, author’s meetings and social initiatives stalls;

• the ART EVENTS section, in which you’ll find plenty of exhibitions, theatre and comedy performances as well as feature films and documentaries;

• at the festival grounds there are also LOCATIONS, i.e. cafés and spaces of different arrangement, atmosphere and event programme and all of them invite you for meetings, talks and making new relationships. 

And all of it in an incredible scenery of a giant palace, that used to be the biggest Cistercian Abbey in the world. SLOT is a little town that exists only for several days in a year and that we build ourselves. Join its creators and citizens!

This year at the Main Stage we will hear Mikromusic, GrubSon, xxanaxx, Pablopavo & Ludziki and others. Among the club sounds we’ll have a new project by Magda Pasierska from Me, Myself & I and DJ Feel X and tens of others concerts will take place at the stages: HC/Punk, hip-hop, folk, unplugged, contest, spontaneous and experimental, where at night under the ceiling of a Gothic cathedral we’ll embark on musical trips with Sutari and others, including the Slot orchestra created during the festival.

Workshops at the Slot Art Festival are special. Everyday in three turns over 100 classes take place. For four days of the festival the participants can attend the same workshops to improve their skills or try something new every day. 

The festival takes place on 10?14 July 2018  in Lubiąż in Lower Silesia (Dolny Śląsk).
