You might ask yourself, ?What is hardcore/punk??
It?s music that carries emotion, self-expression and a cry against all that?s bad in the world- a place where no one has his own opinion and everyone is caught in the rat race, a world of conformism and consumption.
Hardcore is mainly about people- with different ideas, more or less involved ideologically but united by one thing- music. HC/Punk is also closely related to the Do It Yourself (DIY) movement, vegetarian/vegan lifestyle, animal rights and the Green movement.
So far we?ve invited the following friends to play:
A young band that plays simple, angry hardcore inspired by bands such as Minor Threat, Bad Brains, Black Flag and thrash from the ?80?s. They support the DIY ideal and are anti-Fascist. They don?t have a demo and don?t plan to make one.
Dark sounds set in a thick and melancholic climate. Post-hardcore with amazing new material.
Mnoda is a young band from Poznan that says they play avant-punk but in their music you?ll hear noise and broken jazz as well, all spiced with a good dose of humor.
Polish pioneer punk band whose lyrics often deal with difficult questions in a provocative manner. Their 1991 recording, „Na własne podobieństwo” is considered the first independent album of the HC/Punk scene.
HARD TO BREATHE
They?re one of Warsaw?s longest existing HC/Punk bands. Their music is a mix of melodic riffs and aggressive sounds. Their concerts are one of their strongest points which is no surprise since they bring honesty, joy and passion through their music.
An old punk band that still has what it takes.
These guys from Liechtenstein have been playing together since 2009. They play dynamic post HC with electronic elements.
Their music is traditional HC/Punk from the 80?s/90?s and experimental Noise Rock. Their texts stick to a punk ideology showing the condition and crisis of the modern world.
They started in 2009 as the first underground Catholic band in Croatia. For them the message is the most important.
